Hey guys! Welcome to the brand-spanking-new joieworks.com. If you are reading this, that means you have officially discovered something very special. That special something is a project that I have been working on over many months, also known as JoieWorks. Allow me to properly introduce JoieWorks to you from the very beginning.
As many of you reading this probably already know, I have spent the last five odd years in the glamorous world of furniture and interior design honing my marketing and graphic design skills, first in Boston and most recently in Sydney, Australia. Upon my return back to the homeland, I knew I wanted to continue my pursuit of a career in both marketing and design.
At this time, I was approached by a few close friends and family who knew of my experience. These businesses were in need of marketing support and design services, but didn't necessarily have the resources at the time to hire an agency or someone in-house. I recognized a gap in the market for something unique: tailored and personalized marketing and creative solutions at a competitive rate. I realized that I could create a business doing these things on a freelance basis. And that was the moment JoieWorks was born (well not that exact moment, because it took me FOREVER to pick the name).
Once the idea was born, I got straight to work on a long list of action items to get this thing up and running. There was (and still is) a LOT to do, but, as those of you who know me can attest, I am one of those strange people that enjoys making a task list and accomplishing each and every item.
After many months of due diligence and a lot of “behind-the-scenes” planning and preparation, I am now finally ready to tell the world about JoieWorks. And tell you I shall.
In short, JoieWorks is a full-service Creative Cartel for modern brands and businesses specializing in brand strategy and cross-disciplinary creative. JoieWorks brings brands to life and launches them seamlessly into the modern world.*
What does this mean, you ask? Basically, this means that JoieWorks specializes in marketing and graphic design of all kinds, at any stage. JoieWorks can help a brand set up an identity from scratch, or help an existing business with its marketing strategy. This could also mean that JoieWorks functions as a freelance in-house designer or marketing expert. Whatever the task -- branding, marketing, or creative -- JoieWorks can take it on. And make it FUN!
